nu:notes festival returns with a programme dedicated to the new wave of jazz, experimentation and the musical forms that continue to shape and redefine the genre. Across three evenings, the festival brings together international and Luxembourg-based artists, exploring the intersections between jazz, electronic music, hip-hop and new forms of live performance.

Together, the three evenings present different perspectives on nu:notes central approach: jazz as an evolving musical language rather than a fixed genre. By placing contemporary jazz alongside electronic music and hip-hop, the festival highlights the connections, influences and creative exchanges that continue to drive musical innovation.

The programme unfolds across three different venues, each bringing its own atmosphere, setting and character to the festival. From the playful and informal setting of De Gudde Wëllen, to the immersive concert environment of den Atelier and the energetic hip-hop setting of Rotondes, each location offers a distinct way to experience the music and contributes to the diverse identity of the programme.

With its 2026 programme, nu:notes tries to establish itself as a platform for adventurous music in Luxembourg, bringing together established international names and emerging local voices while inviting audiences to experience jazz — and everything beyond it — from new perspectives.
